Healing Grief - by Rev. Christopher Ian Chenoweth

A Time for Life - by Mary Mae Oesch

Judas, who betrayed Him. ...repented himself, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver. ..saying: "I have sinned in betraying innocent blood" ...and he went away and hanged himself.

Judas represents the attribute LIFE, "redeemed" or betrayed."

Judas, who betrayed the Master, actually symbolizes the "Life Conserver," for the Judas function generates the life of the body. Judas governs the life consciousness, in the symbolic sense, and its lowest expression as "sensation" must be divinely guided and "redeemed," if the Christ is not to be betrayed.

Judas, who hoped that Jesus brought a "human" kingdom that would overthrow Roman rule, revealed high qualities or Jesus would not have chosen him for a Disciple. He trusted Judas enough to give him the money to provide places for the Disciples to sleep and eat on their travels. He trusted Judas to live up to his spiritual self.

At last, Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver - confident that Jesus would save himself at the last moment, for he had seen Jesus perform many miracles. When he realized that Jesus was not going to save himself, he repented and tried to return the silver to secure Jesus' release. When the chief priests and elders rejected him, Judas was filled with such great remorse he hanged himself.

 Life

by Marie Ann Shea

The question is asked: How can we overcome the belief in old age and death?

Overcoming the belief in old age and death, can be accomplished or attained by bringing forth the beautiful spiritual thoughts of God about "life" into our consciousness. This new spiritual activity inspires new thoughts of life into our minds, and a change in old beliefs and a sense of release of old negative habits may suddenly be experienced on all levels of life; spiritually, mentally and physically. A conscious knowing occurs that "life is good" and a new beginning has taken hold.

The experience of "letting go" of the old beliefs and habits begin and a spiritual understanding of God's Law of life is born within. An awareness of eternal life is embraced and the Oneness with God and His Love enfolds within us. Jesus Christ taught this great truth, "…whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:15; KJV).

Charles Fillmore states in his book, The Twelve Powers of Man, that everyone of us must learn to watch our consciousness, its impulses and desires, just as the chemists watch their solutions. Each individual "form their own consciousness from the elements of God," and they alone are responsible for the consequence.

If we want to know all the mysteries of life, we study life and put out of our minds every thought about death or the condition of the dead. Then through the "law of thought formation" we will build up in ourselves such a strong consciousness of life that its negative or absence of, will ever be to us nonexistent.

Jesus said,
"Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that heareth my word, and
believeth on Him that sent me,
hath everlasting life and shall
not come into condemnation; but
passed from death unto life"
John 5:24 KJV.

Fillmore reveals to us .. "THE LAW of generation is undoubtedly the mystery of mysteries in human consciousness. People have probed, with more or less success, nearly every secret of nature, but of the origin of life they know comparatively nothing. It is true that they have with chemical combinations simulated life, but the activity has been temporary only."

To become aware of the great Law of Truth, we must first get in contact with our inner life and then manifest this Truth in our outer world, through life experiences. For example; be happy wherever we are, right now!

Enjoy the good of knowing the satisfaction of who we are, for we are God’s Children, blessed with the ability to solve our everyday problems of living. The problems of life weave beautiful pictures of our experiences when using "The Hand" of God to hold the needle that creates our tapestries of life. The pictures become personal books written together with God and we share them with one another here on earth.

In reality, the good is always present
and life is perfect in every form!

We just have to become aware of a "Greater Understanding" of God's work and thus the picture of life appears more perfect in one's mind.

This is the Holy Spirit working, wakening us to the Light and the joy of life, bringing us out of the chaos and despair we have been experiencing through limited vision, seeing only a distorted picture of reality.

A lack of faith and understanding in our Spiritual Faculties causes anxiety and resentment which ages us, this sense of despair results in making hard work out of creating a life of harmony of joy and peace. It also prevents us the freedom to choose the path of a spiritual and rewarding life and to follow the teachings of "overcoming" adversities through Jesus Christ. This attitude of negativity can be released; let go of all fears, doubts, and accept the "Good" right now from God. Fill your mind with enthusiastic praises and anticipation of the creative ideas coming from the Divine Mind of God, always present and ever flowing like a river.

Let us affirm: "Let go and let God."

Life is progressive and is a continually revealing presence of God. Each Spiritual Revelation brings us to the ability to create a stronger and more zestful life. The more awareness of the Presence of God in our lives, the finer the weave of the tapestry of life. Each Divine Idea brought forth into life expression, adds to our environment so that both inner and outer life harmonizes and grows more abundantly and satisfying.

Peace.  .  .  Be Still and know .  .  .   I AM GOD .  .  .  .

When using the intellect as a tool of Spirit, we can help transform our false concepts of life that cause us to stay in bondage, ever struggling and resisting changes. With the positive use of a this tool, known as the intellect, we find it can bring us out of lethargic states of consciousness. As we develop new thoughts in spiritual light and understanding of God's Law, we learn to serve the forces of life with new strength and trust. Concentrating on truth statements of the realization of perfect life, brings a broader vision to our faculty of imagination of the perfect patterns of Life.

It is written in Scripture…

"For unto you is born this day in the city of
David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord"

-Luke 2:11 KJV.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man
keep my saying, he shall never see death"

John 8:51 KJV.

Affirm: For unto me is born this day in my
City of David, a Saviour, which is my
Christ Spirit, my Lord.

The metaphysical meaning of this affirmation is that you, a temple of God, are the City of David. More specifically, the city of David within you is the area of your cardiac and solar plexus (the area of the heart and diaphragm). It is here that the "divine spark", the "Christ", is born as new life within you. As Christ, which is infinite life, love and wisdom, is awakened within you, it will be your Saviour, that is, you will be saved from the tribulation, trouble, and delays that, otherwise, you would not have had the understanding to avoid. So, the Christ will be your Lord, meaning the "Law of Good" for you, and you will have the potential to do the "works" that Jesus did. (John 14:12 KJV).

Let us pray together:
We are spiritual beings, therefore we are Children of God and we inherit only perfect health from our Father in Heaven, to do His Works, which are a joy to our hearts.
In a loving consciousness of love we sing praises of thanksgiving to God, for He is showering His Good upon us now… and we are grateful, Thank you Father. Amen.

"Behold, the former things have come to pass,
and new things I now declare;
before they spring forth
I tell you of them." Amen.

Isaiah 42:9
