It’s time for the "PPP" Month…Philip, Purple and Power of the WORD !! May is the month when we think of Philip who represents the faculty of POWER, the color PURPLE and to speak POWERFUL and POSITIVE words. Charles Fillmore writes in his, Metaphysical Dictionary; (p.524), |

"Nathaniel said to him, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Philip said, "Come and see" (John 1:45-46). Philip took Nathaniel to meet Jesus…. for the rest of this story, visit … the June page … for the Power of Imagination.
When Jesus gathered his disciples into His Galilean ministry He taught them to develop their conscious awareness of the Spiritual Power and Dominion Mastery within their minds, hearts and souls. Jesus Christ "gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity." (Matt. 10:1 -11:1) The disciples demonstrated "the activity of God" through their understanding of the faculty of power when called forth by the power of the Word, for both spiritual and physical healings. C. Fillmore writes, "When we understand this power of the word, we have the key to the perpetuity of scared writings. One may gain strength by silently speaking words of strength to each of the disciples sitting on the twelve thrones within one. Power swings open the doors of soul and body. One can feel the power of unity with the higher self through the vibrations of power in the throat more quickly than in any other way. This reveals that ideas rule the person" (MD.p.525).
All across the biblical timetable there are powerful "watershed" events that have been historically recorded. These events earmarked not only a change in the historiography of this world but also caused a shift in the consciousness of the people to move to "higher ground" both physically and spiritually.
The words "Follow me" found in the Scriptures, was known as "a call to God’s service." The words were used by people who were inspired by God to call others to serve Him. The Bible records a written history of people who chose to answer the "call to serve" God.
Noah, was
such a person (Gen. 5:28-29), he was a "righteous man" and walked with God (Gen.6:9).
When "God saw the earth, it was corrupt in His sight, for all flesh had corrupted their way upon
the earth. And God said to Noah 'behold, I will destroy them with the earth.'"
But because Noah was a "righteous man," God made a covenant with him. God said to Noah "Make yourself an ark of gopher wood" (Genesis 6:8-9; 7:1). Then Noah, all of his family and two of each kind of animals, male and female went into the ark and were safe from the destructive flood for the next 40 days and nights. "Noah did this; he did all that God commanded him." (Gen. 6:11-22).
The power of God’s "calling to" Noah is still present today. There are people still on a
quest to solve the archaeological mystery of the Ark. The search continues this very day...

When God called to Abraham he was living in Ur of the Chaldees,
who were Idol worshipers, but he was always obedient to the Word of God. Scripture tells
us that God summoned
Abraham and said; "Go from your country... and into the land that I will show you" (Canaan) and
"I will make of you a great nation... bless you... and make your name great, so that you will be
a blessing." Abraham came to be known as "the founder of the Hebrew Nation."
A most severe test of faith came to Abraham when God called him to sacrifice his only son Isaac. But an Angel of God intervened to save Isaac (Gen.22:1-19).
Another person who was inspired by God was Moses (Exodus 2:23 – 4:17). God’s call came to
Moses while he was tending sheep on Mount Horeb. He saw a burning bush, approached it, and heard
a divine voice speaking in the fire "Moses, Moses!" God summoned him "…Come, I will send you to
the Pharaoh, that you may bring forth my people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt." Moses was
over whelmed at first with God’s command but when God gave him the "power to excel the "secret
arts" (Ex. 7:11; 8:18-19; 9:11) and placed "the rod of God in his hand to do the signs," without
hesitation Moses obeyed God.
Moses returned to Egypt with his family and delivered the Israelites from Egyptian slavery. When God and Moses met face to face on Mt. Sinai, Moses received the law from God. Moses came down the mountain carrying two stone tablets. These bore the Ten Commandments (the Decalogue) that were given to Hebrew people. The stone tablets are also known as "the ten words," the epitome of a person’s duties toward God and neighbor (Ex.20).
The power behind the words openly demonstrates the action of God, taken up by people who listen and who follow His Command.
In Isaiah 40:8 it is written;
