The Shea Ministries, Inc. (TSM) is a non-profit corporation registered in the USA State of New York, established on January 4, 1999. TSM is a conservative Judeo-Christian Education movement affiliated with Trinity Seminar Ministries for Judeo-Christianity (tsmj.org). Visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page.

Judeo-Christian thought is not an attempt to combine the traditions of Judaism and Christianity into a religion or some "new" order of thought. To do so would be a futile attempt to distort Truth and would denigrate the integrity, honor, and sacred traditions of both.

Judeo-Christian Education - Study; Prayer; Service
Judeo-Christian teachings are founded on first century Christian thought with its roots in the teachings of the Jewish Disciples and followers of the ministry of Jesus Christ. The focus of TSM is from the historiographic perspective of the first century teachings of Jesus Christ. We affirm: "There is only One Presence and One Power in the Universe; God, the Good, Omnipotence. God is our inspiration; Jesus Christ is the Head of this Ministry; His Teaching is our work.

Christ Center for Everyday Living (christcenter.tsmj.org)
CCEL is a Prayer Support group that meets daily in the Christ Center Chapel for the purpose of conducting an on-going healing prayer vigil in connection with prayer requests from friends and correspondents throughout the world. The prayer support group was established in 1984 and was originally located in Kenmore Village, New York, USA. In 1998 CCEL joined with TSMJ as an affiliate and is now located at TSMJ Headquarters in Wheatfield, New York.

The Healing Prayer Support of CCEL is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL. Each Prayer Request is received and handled in strict confidence and is kept in our Christ Center Chapel during a thirty day Healing Prayer Treatment. At the end of the thirty day period, unless the individual Prayer Partner requests continued prayer, the prayer support ends and any information in connection with the prayer partner's request is privately disposed, for we affirm that God always answers all prayers.

HOW WE PRAY: We believe every individual is a beloved child of God, heir to His Kingdom. Everyone deserves nothing less than all the good that God has provided for them. But to receive it each individual must first turn to God, knowing this Truth in their heart and mind. One must first set aside false doubt and make room for the Truth. Jesus said, "Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." - Mark 11:24.

We apply Positive Affirmative Prayer Treatment according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught us to pray: "When you pray say: 'Father, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread; and forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us; and lead us not into temptation.'" - Luke 11:2-4.

This is affirmative prayer. Every sentence is a positive statement of Truth:
  • "Father, hallowed be Thy Name:" We acknowledge God, the Omniscient, Omnipotent Creator and Provider of all. Nothing exists without God.

  • "Thy Kingdom come:" We affirm the Omnipresence of God. No one is ever alone for God is always Present in every place and situation. Only our human consciousness can turn away from God. Therefore, we focus our attention on the Presence of God through affirmation.

  • "Give us each day our daily bread:" Having established conscious communion in spirit we state our needs as positive action.

  • "and forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us:" What we expect of God for ourselves, we must be willing to expect for all others. This may be difficult but it must be practiced for effectual prayer. When God forgives us of our sins we, as children of God, must do the same for others since all others are also children of God. To do less is denial of God and is a sin.

  • "And lead us not into temptation:" This is not supplication. God never leads us astray. Jesus said, "Watch and pray so that you do not fall into temptation."- Matt 26:41. It is a prayer affirmation that we will not lose sight of our purpose in prayer: to focus on and connect with God, the Father. This affirmation is a promise to stay connected. How do we do this? - Paul wrote, "Pray continually." - 1st Thes. 5:17. Paul did not mean that we should drop to our knees in constant prayer. He was speaking of practicing constant awareness of God Presence; staying focused on our purpose and not being led into temptation and sin.

Each prayer support request that Christ Center receives is placed in the Christ Center Chapel Prayer Box where it remains for 30 days. During that time a team of active prayer partners, those who pray with you, conduct daily affirmative prayer services. Prayer consciousness in the Christ Center Prayer Chapel is constant. We pray for your upliftment and strength in the Holy Spirit and in the Name of Jesus Christ. When we pray, we affirm that the strength of the Holy Spirit moves through you so that you never lose sight of your purpose and that you are raised to the Consciousness of Holy Spirit in Healing Light, Life, and Love. We are ever thankful that this is so and we rejoice as we affirm this Absolute Truth in the Name and through the unmitigated Healing Power of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Requests are received by regular mail at Shea Ministries, 4057 Crescent Dr. Suite 102, Wheatfield, New York, 14120-3714, OR You can also submit a Prayer Request on the Internet at the Christ Center web site.

Brother Cadfry’s Files

Brother Cadfry joined TSMJ in April 2000. Brother Cadfry is an impish monk who lives in The Silent Word Monastery located on the east coast of Cyberland. He is a curious fellow who loves life and likes to explore the realm of lesser known ideas and concepts that add to the quality of his spiritual life. He shares these fun ideas and bits of religious history on his Web Site. Although this site is relatively new, Brother Cadfry’s webmaster is working hard to fulfill Cadfry’s request to post all of his files soon.
